A salon
built like
a design studio.
We didn't open Zoi to be the biggest salon on MG Road. We opened it to be the most remembered — by brides, by regulars, by anyone who sits in our chair.
Our story
Started with a single chair.
In 2018, a group of hairstylists, cosmetologists and bridal artists quit their chain-salon jobs to open a studio in a second-floor space on MG Road. The idea was small: quiet chairs, specialists who stayed for years, and products we'd actually use on our own sisters.
By 2021 we had to expand to two floors. By 2024 we were doing over 300 brides a year and running a separate men's grooming floor. Zoi is still owner-run, still slow-paced, and still surprisingly soft-spoken for a salon on the busiest mile of the city.
What hasn't changed is the rule: never over-book. No one on our floor takes more than 4 clients a day. Every ritual, from hydrafacial to keratin, gets the minutes it deserves.
What we believe
Our values, loudly written.
Slow beauty, always
We'd rather take longer and do one thing beautifully than rush a list.
Indian first
Our protocols are calibrated for Indian melanin, weather and hair behavior — not copied from global playbooks.
Consent & comfort
Every service starts with a consult. If you change your mind mid-way, that's absolutely fine.
Boutique, not big
Two floors, one roof, ~25 people on staff. You'll see the same faces across your visits.

The team
Faces you'll see at the chair.
Bridal lead, senior colourists, cosmetologists, barbers, nail artists, spa therapists and a very opinionated front desk. All of us live in Bangalore; most of us have been at Zoi for over 4 years.
